The Piedbœuf brewery was founded in 1853. It launched a 5% lager called "Jupiler 5" in 1966, named after its home of Jupille. Jupiler is Belgium's best-selling beer, with about 40% of the market, and it sponsors the top football league. It is owned by AB InBev, and its slogan is "Men know why".
