Jules Lefebvre started brewing in 1876 in Quenast, next to a porphyry quarry whose workers drank there after their shifts. The family brewery's Barbãr is an 8% blond ale brewed with honey. Lefebvre has also brewed the Floreffe abbey beers since 1983.
