Brewed in Latrobe from 1939 with soft local water in glass-lined tanks, and once known for its 7-ounce pony bottles. In 2006 Anheuser-Busch bought the brand and moved brewing to Newark, New Jersey, while keeping the Latrobe name on the label, which led to a union-backed boycott.
