Bud Light

1982 · first brewed

Anheuser-Busch launched it in 1982 as Budweiser Light, a lower-calorie version of its flagship lager. From 1987 to 1989, its ads starred a dog mascot called Spuds MacKenzie. In 2023, Modelo Especial overtook it as the top-selling beer in the US by retail sales. It is owned by AB InBev.
