Pabst Blue Ribbon

First sold as Best Select, then Pabst Select, the beer took its name from blue ribbons tied around the bottle neck from 1882. The company claimed it was named 'America's Best' in 1893, which is uncertain. PBR revived in the 2000s as a hipster favourite; Pabst is now based in San Antonio, Texas.
