Firestone Walker
Paso Robles, United States
1996 · brewery founded
Founded by brothers-in-law Adam Firestone, great-grandson of tire magnate Harvey Firestone, and David Walker on a family vineyard; it moved to its current home in 2001. It still ferments some beer in linked oak barrels, a variant of the British Burton Union system. Belgium's Duvel Moortgat became majority owner in 2015.
