Founded by local native Joey Redner, who brewed his first batch in January 2009. Jai Alai IPA, named after the fast Basque ball game, makes up more than half of the brewery's output. Cigar City joined the CANarchy collective in 2016, which was sold to Monster Beverage in 2022.
