Karol Rudolf Vetter started brewing Perła in 1846 in a former Reformati monastery in Lublin, and beer was brewed there until 2001. The company now brews in Lublin and Zwierzyniec. Perła Chmielowa, made since 1974, is its flagship, and the labels show Lublin's coat of arms with a white goat.
