1982 · first brewed

The Poznań brewery was built between 1975 and 1980, and the Lech brand appeared in 1982. Brewery staff came up with the name during a brainstorm. In 2007 the brewery set a Guinness world record for the most people drinking from one giant mug. It is owned by Asahi through Kompania Piwowarska.
