Harnaś is a pale lager from the Okocim Brewery, founded in 1845 by Johann Evangelist Götz. Its highlander mascot is modelled on Janosik, the outlaw hero of a 1970s Polish TV series. Sales jumped from 200,000 hl in 2003 to 900,000 hl in 2004. Okocim has been part of Carlsberg since 1996.
