Founded by Doug, Wynne and Corkie Odell in a converted 1915 grain elevator, it was the first craft brewery in town. Doug Odell spent ten years perfecting recipes in his Los Angeles kitchen, including 90 Shilling. Since 2015 an employee stock ownership plan has helped keep the brewery independent.
