German brothers Benedikt and Klaus Kutz began brewing in San Sebastián in 1872. Their lion emblem still appears on Keler. Production moved to Arano in Navarre in 1982, and Damm, the current owner, closed that plant in 2008 and moved brewing to El Prat de Llobregat near Barcelona.
