Blanche de Chambly, a Belgian-style witbier, was launched in 1992 as Unibroue's first beer. Unibroue was set up by André Dion and Serge Racine to brew Belgian-style ales in Quebec. It was bought by Sleeman in 2004, and Sleeman was in turn acquired by Japan's Sapporo in 2006.
