Zundert

The monks of Maria Toevlucht Abbey, founded in 1900, set up the De Kievit brewery in an old farm building and launched Zundert in December 2013. In May 2025 they announced the abbey would close because too few monks remained, which meant the beer could no longer carry the Trappist label.
