Tennent's

1885 · first brewed

Tennent's Lager was first brewed at Wellpark in 1885 and became Scotland's leading lager. The Tennent family business was founded in 1740 by Hugh and Robert Tennent, on a site where an ancestor brewed from 1556, and by the mid-19th century was the world's largest bottled-beer exporter. Owned by Ireland's C&C Group since 2009.
