Hacker-Pschorr

Hacker was founded in 1417, almost a century before the 1516 Reinheitsgebot. Joseph Pschorr bought it from his father-in-law in the late 18th century, and the Hacker and Pschorr breweries merged in 1972. It is one of six Munich breweries allowed to serve at Oktoberfest, and Paulaner is its sister brand.
