Phoenix has been brewed since 1963 and is the island's main beer, with the slogan 'Nou Pays. Nou Labiere' ('Our country, our beer'). Since 2006 it has also been sold on Réunion, where it competes with the local Dodo beer. The range includes a stronger Special Brew launched in 2005.
