Früh Kölsch

1904 · brewery founded

Peter Josef Früh opened his brewpub "Cölner Hofbräu" in 1904 near Cologne Cathedral. He was allowed to use the "Hofbräu" name because the address, Am Hof, was shared with the Duke of Brabant. Since 1987 the beer has been brewed in Cologne-Feldkassel, while the original Früh am Dom tavern remains a landmark.
