Accra Brewery was built in 1931 by the Swiss-registered Overseas Breweries and is described as West Africa's first brewery. Its flagship, Club Premium Lager, is considered Ghana's first manufactured product. The brewery became part of AB InBev in 2016 through the takeover of SABMiller.
