Rémy Ricour founded the Saint-Sylvestre brewery in 1920. It created its bière de garde 3 Monts in 1985 and the Gavroche in 1997. In 2019 it was renamed Brasserie 3 Monts after its flagship beer, which is named after three hills of French Flanders.
